It all started with a man, a vision and a dream...
that developed into a whole phenomenon.

Don: A physicist and researcher, who, for most of his life, found a fascination with audio recording and playback technologies. He was inspired by his father, who was involved in radio and television electronics with a local public school system. Later, he worked to develop a theory about three-dimensional audio perception and the concept that normal stereo recordings already included adequate information to manifest true 3-D surround sound, without the need for additional channels or encoded material. |
Following years of extensive research, a prototype model was developed, tested and offered to several associates for testing. When the response was overwhelmingly positive, KICKSurround.com was formed and we began to demonstrate the device for audio engineers and sound system distributors. Again, the response was very encouraging and positive. With the concept proven to be functional and effective, three models were developed, one each for home stereo and theater systems, automobiles, multi-media computers and even Boom Box stereos.
